Tactical Air Watch
A curated live map of notable private jets and their flight history.
Tactical Air Watch tracks a hand-picked roster of private aircraft associated with prominent figures using public ADS-B signals. The site shows live positions, recent departures and landings, flight histories, co-arrival analytics, and estimated emissions totals for the tracked fleet.
Why it stands out
- Focuses on a curated set of celebrity, billionaire, political, sports, music, entertainment, tech, and business aircraft rather than all air traffic.
- Adds newsroom-style analytics for co-arrivals and multi-jet gatherings that raw flight maps usually do not surface directly.
- Combines live tracking with historical logs and emissions estimates in one browser-based view.
- Explicitly flags FAA PIA-protected aircraft rather than pretending every jet can be tracked continuously.
Good to know
- Coverage is limited to the aircraft the site has chosen to track, not every private jet.
- Jets using FAA privacy mechanisms may be intentionally left dark or harder to follow.
- The watcher can miss flights, so histories and emissions totals should not be treated as complete records.
- Co-arrivals and airport clusters are circumstantial leads, not proof that the people involved met or coordinated.
Under the radar: The Analytics tab is more useful than the live map for research: use co-arrivals or three-plus-jet clusters as prompts to check filings, venue schedules, social posts, or source tips before drawing conclusions.

Reporters tracking influential people’s travel patterns can spot airport overlaps, clusters, and possible leads from public flight signals. Follow a specific aircraft’s recent landings, route history, altitude, and speed when it is broadcasting. Look for multiple tracked jets arriving at the same airport around the same time. Compare estimated private-jet emissions across the monitored owners. Check whether a notable jet is airborne, recently landed, or intentionally obscured through FAA privacy protections.
Live aircraft map with color-coded status markers, registry table with owner categories, clickable flight histories, recent touchdown feed, co-arrival and gathering detection, and an emissions scoreboard based on aircraft type and logged flight time.
